Graduated from the Leningrad State Theater Institute named after A.N. Ostrovsky.
He was an actor of the Leningrad Bolshoi Drama Theater named after Gorky, and then worked as a reader in Lenconcert. He read French lyrics, poetry of the Italian Renaissance, made compositions of Soviet poetry, original editing of Pushkin's Little Tragedies.
He passed away at the end of November 1987 - fell down the stairs, hurrying to his premiere of the evening of Blok's poetry ...
