Born on June 13, 1955 in the village of Oktyabrskoye, Oktyabrsky district, Mykolaiv region.
School years were spent in Simferopol.
In 1973 he came to Leningrad and entered the Institute of Culture. N.K. Krupskaya. After two years of study, he transferred to the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (on the course of the People's Artist of Russia, Professor Z.Ya. Korogodsky), which he graduated in 1979.
For several seasons he worked at the Leningrad Youth Theater named after I. A.A. Bryantseva.
Since 1985 - artist of the Lensovet Theater.
Honored Artist of Russia (2003).
