The group was formed in 2001 from the leading actors of the hit series "Garden of Shooting Stars", which has become very popular in Asia. The name was taken by F4, as their grouping in the series was called, but after the release of the Japanese remake (based on the same comic book), due to copyright, the name had to be changed to JVKV - the first letters of the names of the participants by seniority.
