Satomi Ishihara dreamed of becoming a teacher since childhood, and then a radio host. The real name of the actress is Ishigami Kuniko. In 2002, she entered and won the Pure Girl talent competition, beating more than 30,000 applicants. This event was the beginning of her journey into show business.
In 2003, Satomi Ishihara was offered a minor role in the Japanese television series My Favorite.
