So, perhaps, Figlovskaya's genius would have remained unrecognized and unknown if, by 1938, director Vladimir Motyl had not thought about creating a comedy melodrama about a fragile intellectual from the Arbat - soldier Zhenya Koshkin. For his future premiere, Motyl incredibly carefully selected all the performers of the main roles, and the director's particular headache was the image of Zhenechka Zemlyanikina. The bloodworm saw in her character a bright, attractive girl with slightly rude features. The leaders of Lenfilm offered the director to take Natalya Kustinskaya into the project, but Motyl continued his active search. And now, after some time, thanks to the teachers of the Shchukin school, fate brings him to Figlovskaya.

However, despite the popularity of the picture, Galina Viktorovna's further film career did not work out - later she starred in several more films, but not so high-profile.
