Vladimir was born in the small village of Baghdadi in the Kutaisi province in the family of a nobleman who served as a forester. The boy studied at the Kutaisi gymnasium until his father died, after which the family decides to move to Moscow. This period greatly influenced Mayakovsky as a person and brought up a revolutionary in him. For participating in the work of the Marxists, the guy will go to jail several times (1908-1909), he was accused of collaborating with the anarchists. It was during the period of imprisonment that Mayakovsky began to form as a poet. In such unpleasant conditions, he writes his first poems.

In 1910, Mayakovsky was released from prison and began to take an active interest in painting and entered the Moscow School of Painting, from where he was later expelled for participating in public performances. In 1912, the poet's poems began to be published, Mayakovsky began to promote futuristic art. The turning point in the poet's work was his play "A Cloud in Pants", which arose as a response to the World War I going on around. The poet emphasized the senselessness of war and the need for revolution. After the October Revolution, Vladimir begins to call for the struggle for the ideals of communism. In the early 1920s, the poet became one of the members of the creative association Left Front. Vladimir actively works as a correspondent for Soviet newspapers, writes poetry and creates propaganda posters. I traveled a lot in my country and abroad, where he also drew inspiration.

In one of his plays "The Bedbug" Mayakovsky ridiculed bureaucracy, which caused a disapproving reaction from the then "top". Vladimir Mayakovsky is expelled from creative associations and harshly criticized. It was a difficult period for the poet: serious problems in his personal life, pressure on his work, lack of the right to vote, the failure of his play "Bath". It is believed that all this was the reason for his suicide on April 14, 1930. After Mayakovsky's death, his work was banned. And only at the request of Lily Brik before Stalin the ban was lifted. Mayakovsky is declared a symbol of the era and a great poet, museums are opened in his honor and honors are paid to him.
