Born November 16, 1947, Sverdlovsk, USSR (Yekaterinburg, Russia) - Soviet and Russian theater and film actor.

Grew up in the family of actor Adolf Alekseevich Ilyin and pediatrician Zinaida Borisovna Ilyina.

In 1969 he graduated from the acting department of the Sverdlovsk theater school (course of F.G. Grigoryan).

Worked at the Moscow Skomorokh Theater under the direction of G. I. Yudenich, at the Kazan Theater for Young Spectators.

From 1974 to 1989, he served at the Vladimir Mayakovsky Moscow Academic Theater under the direction of A.A. Goncharov.

Since 1989, the actor began to work under contracts.
