Born May 5, 1957 - British actor, director and screenwriter of Swaziland descent.
Studied at Waterford Kamhlaba School, then studied English and Drama at the University of Cape Town.
Richard Grant was a member of the Cape Town's Space Theater cast and finally moved to London in 1982.
In 2005, he made an autobiographical film about his childhood and his parents according to his own script - "Wow-Wow", starring Gabriel Byrne, Miranda Richardson, Emily Watson and Julie Walters.
