Roland Bertin is a French actor, born in Paris on November 16, 1930. He is the founder of the Burgundy Drama Center.
He became an actor, playing under the direction of Roger Planchon, Georges Lavelli, Patrice Chereau, Luc Ronconi, Claude Regi ...
In 1982 he joined the Comedie Francaise, where he worked from 1983 to 2001. He had an extensive repertoire in various plays: "Mother Courage and Her Children" by Bertold Brecht, "Don Juan", "The Balcony" by Jean Genet, Estivants by Maxim Gorky, "She Is There" by Natalie Sarrott. Since 2002, he has been an honorary member of the Comedie Francaise.
Most recently, he played with Dominique Pituase in Shakespeare's Tempest, with Yves Bonesne in Anton Chekhov's Uncle Van and Maurice Maeterlinck's Princess Malen.
