Was born on April 2, 1947 in Tashkent. His father Anatoly Litvin was the deputy director of the Leningrad House of Journalists, and his mother worked in the Philharmonic. Graduated from the Ulyanov-Lenin Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute, for four years he worked in his specialty. He began to write while still a student, thanks to his father, he began to publish in humorous sections of newspapers.
