Born May 15, 1925 in Moscow.
In 1947 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of VGIK, in 1963 - director (workshop of Boris Dolin, Alexander Stolper).
He worked as a director of films at the "Mosnauchfilm" and "Soyuzdetfilm" films; director at the cinema "Lenfilm", since 1974 - at the cinema "Mosfilm" .
He died on March 3, 1994 in Moscow. He was buried at the Kuntsevo cemetery.
