People's Artist of the RSFSR (1980).
Member of the CPSU since 1976. In 1950 he graduated from the Astrakhan Pedagogical Institute. Since 1951 he has been a soloist of army song and dance ensembles, since 1956 - with the Leningrad Theater of Musical Comedy.
He was the husband of People's Artist of Russia Lyudmila Senchina.
He was buried at the Smolenskoye cemetery in St. Petersburg.
