Born on June 11, 1947 in the village of Zavolye, Odessa region.
In 1969 graduated from LGITMiK.
In the 70s - an actor at the Tbilisi Russian Theater named after Griboyedov.
Then he played in Leningrad theaters: in the Maly Drama Theater, in the Theater of Drama and Comedy on Liteiny.
He starred in 18 films (the most famous: "Island of the lost ships", "Bad business", "He arrived on the day of remembrance", "Three percent of the risk", etc.).
In 1988 he was arrested and sentenced to a long prison term.
Died on July 15, 1993 in one of the Ural correctional facilities.
