Born on January 21, 1914 in the village of Semyonovka, Chernihiv region. He graduated from the theater studio at the State Ukrainian Theater of the RSFSR in Moscow (1934). In 1942-1977 he was an actor at the Rivne Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater. Actor of the Zaporozhye Theater Shchorsa. People's Artist of Ukraine (1973) .
He passed away on May 10, 1986 in Zaporozhye.
