On October 25, 1825, Johann Strauss was born, the son of the world famous composer Strauss. The boy's father saw in his son a future banker. But the boy had a completely different desire, and he dreamed of realizing himself in playing the violin. Very often, hiding from his parents, he retired in order to hold this magical instrument in his hands and gradually learned to play it himself. Once he noticed his son doing such an undesirable activity, his father became very angry and became incredibly angry. And thanks to his mother, who clearly contributed to the hobbies of her son and did not interfere with this in any way, Johann indulged in playing the violin with pleasure. On the instructions of his father, the boy still had to go to study at a commercial school. Even so, Johann managed to get a musical education in 1844. At the same time, his parents filed for divorce.
Soon Johann realizes his childhood dream and creates his own orchestra. But here, too, Johann Sr. intervenes, trying in every possible way to discourage his son from what, in his opinion, is useless business. As a result of numerous efforts on the part of his father, Johann Jr. is not admitted to the popular balls and events. Despite everything that happens, Johann achieves his goal, and he is appointed the bandmaster of the military band. He toured the countries of Europe and was a huge success everywhere.
In 1856, he first appeared in Russia. He was seriously carried away by the Russian girl Olga, but their relationship was not given any continuation due to the prohibitions of her parents. How many years Johann Strauss has been trying to forget about her, but to no avail. By the way, their relationship became the basis for the creation of the film Forgiveness with St. Petersburg.
And now Johann Strauss, six years later, married Yetty Chalupetskaya, who outwardly looked very much like a failed love. In the early 70s, the composer creates new masterpieces, which include chic waltzes and operettas. After the death of his wife, Johann married a second time. But this marriage also failed. The third marriage was more successful and the last in the composer's life.
Johann Strauss died when he was 73 years old from a terrible disease of pneumonia and was buried in the Central Vienna cemetery.
