Born on March 30, 1963 in the city of Zeya, Amur Region. In 1991 he graduated from the Faculty of Cultural and Educational Work of the Leningrad Institute of Culture with a degree in Head of an Amateur Film and Photo Studio. He worked as the head of the children's film and photo studio, as an assistant cameraman at the Lennauchfilm film studio. Since 1987, as a member of the Che-Paev film group, he has been shooting short films. In the second half of the 90s, he began to cooperate with the CTB Film Company.
