Born on May 2, 1969.
On the mother's side - the great-grandson of Nikolai Chernyshevsky.
Graduated from the Theater School. M.S.Schepkin, after being trained by Igor Ilyinsky and Mikhail Tsarev.
Since January 31, 1967 he has been broadcasting the program "Meeting with a Song", of which he is also the author. On November 11, 2006, the 1,000th edition of the program was released.
In the 1960s and 1990s, he also hosted Musical Globe (1967–1997), Record on Your Recorders (1970–1972) and At All Latitudes (1973–1976). In 1996-2003, he hosted the television program "The Story of a Masterpiece" on ORT (for 7 years), which told about the paintings of the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum and the museums of the Moscow Kremlin.
Until 1996, he gave art reading at the Central House of Artists, the House of Actor and the House of Journalists in Moscow, in the White Hall in Kiev, at the Variety Theater, at the Finlyandsky Concert Hall in Leningrad, in schools in front of students. Recorded 15 solo reciting programs, including "The Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov, "House on the Embankment" by Yuri Trifonov.
Since 1993 he has been leading the Star Hour program at the Slavianski Bazaar festival in Vitebsk.
Participated in the dubbing into Russian of feature films: "Eight and a Half", "Amarcord" by Fellini, "Cabaret" by Bob Foss, as well as the Russian translation in the television series by V. Kott "Kinship Exchange"; documentaries: "Conspiracy against the Land of the Soviets" (1984)
Member of the jury for the National Radio Award (Media Union).
