Born November 14, 1961 - American actor, director, screenwriter and producer.
Mainly became famous as a guest actor. He played his first roles in such TV series as "On the Threshold of the Night" and "Spencer". Played roles in full-length films: "Eight Out of the Game (film)", "Memphis Beauty (film, 1990)", and others.
Later he starred in the mini-series - "The Lonely Dove" and in the full-length film "Golden Ice" .
Sweeney is an active supporter of the US military and has made several trips to the Middle East and Europe to cheer and express his gratitude to the soldiers stationed there. The actor founded the Internet project Letters from Hollywood (lettersfromhollywood.army.mil), where many celebrities could express their gratitude and support to the US Army. In May 2008, he visited servicemen in Iraq and presented them with his new film, Two Tickets to Paradise.
