David Cockner is a renowned American comedian actor, producer and screenwriter. The future actor was born in Tipton, Missouri, on August 24, 1962, to Stephen and Margaret Ann Cockner. Has German, Irish and English roots. David has three sisters and two brothers. Cockner studied political science in college. After graduating from the University of Missouri, he moved to Chicago, where he decided to devote himself to acting. He played in the O Theater, studied acting with Del Close, and was with The Second City.
