Paul Mooney was born in September 1895 in Austria-Hungary. His parents played in the theater. When he was 5, he and his family moved to London, and 2 years later they moved to the United States. For his role in the last film, he was nominated for an Oscar, but such a promising title was not followed by a stormy activity in the cinema, as the actor returned to the theater again. And only 6 years later he can be seen again in the movies - in the thriller Scarface and the drama I'm a fugitive convict.
From 1933 to 1935 he rapidly rose to Olympus fame. During this period, new films with Paul Mooney appear: crime dramas Hello Nelly! and City on the Border, melodrama Black Fury and drama Doctor Socrates. But the best, for all the time of his creative activity, was William Dieterly - the protagonist of the Tale of Louis Pasteur, for which he was awarded an Oscar.
