Yivan Kyrlya was born in 1909. He studied at the College of Cinematography, then acted in extras. The audience remembered the role of a street child in the film A Pass to Life, filmed in 1931. This film about difficult teenagers was directed by Nikolay Ekk. Yivan Kyrlya played in the film while still a student. Together with him, Alexander Novikov and Nikolai Batalov became the stars. Interestingly, this Soviet film about a labor commune of adolescents was a great success abroad and won many prestigious awards, including in Cannes.

You can watch Yivan Kirl mainly on the Internet, where several films with his participation are presented in good quality. The second film in the actor's filmography was the Buddha's Vicar, which was released on the screens of Soviet cinemas immediately after the war - in 1946. In it, an actor with a characteristic appearance played the role of Lama. Unfortunately, Yyvan Kyrli's acting career was short-lived. He only appeared in three films, and one of them was never finished, and the second is not so easy to find in the archives. But the actor actively played in the theater in the Republic of Mari El and wrote poetry (two books were published during his lifetime). At the end of the thirties, Kyrlya was arrested. The reason for the arrest was a conflict with one of the artist's acquaintances in a restaurant. He received ten years in the camps and died in 1943, not yet old age.

Films with Yivan Kyrlei are classics of Soviet cinema. The film A Pass to Life is studied in many famous cinematographic universities and is considered one of the best works of the director Eck. After this picture, he also shot Sorochinskaya Fair, May Night (adaptation of Nikolai Gogol) and the first film in color - Grunya Kornakova about the struggle of workers of a porcelain factory for their rights.

Yivan Kyrlya did not change his hair color, preferring the natural one. The actor has a medium straight nose and a rounded chin. The actor's height is 168, no tattoos.
