Nikolay Chursin was born in 1949 in the city of Kharkov. At a very young age, he starred in a film directed by Marlen Khutsiev - Two Fyodors, where the young Vasily Shukshin also starred. He played a homeless boy Fedya Malniy, and Shukshin, who was still a student at VGIK, played Fedya Bolshoi. The film was shot in 1958 at the Odessa Film Studio. By the way, the cameraman for this film was Pyotr Todorovsky, who will become a famous director in the future. Director Marlen Khutsiev, who had previously shot the melodrama Vesna on Zarechnaya Street, was very popular at that time. The role of a funny and touching homeless child brought All-Union fame to Nikolai Chursin. He became recognizable, and his photographs were printed on the posters of Soviet cinemas.

Films with Nikolai Chursin are mainly about children. In 1959 he will again play the main role in a new film. It will be a children's film Boys, directed by Sulamith Tsybulnik (director of the Criminal Investigation Weekdays and In the Loop). Leonid Babich and Alexander Karpov also played in the film about the boys who started a fire in the institution. Participation in such serious works as Two Fyodors and Boys, it would seem, opened the way for Nikolai Chursin to the cinema, but in the future the guy never became an artist. He entered the hydrometeorological university and no longer played a single role in the cinema either in a young or adult age. For many years he maintained a relationship with Vasily Shukshin.

Nikolay Chursin's roles are bright, original acting works. His play will not leave anyone indifferent who decides to watch films with his participation. Chursin entered the history of cinema as Fedya Little from Khutsiev's picture. The actor died at the age of 59, in 2008.

Nikolay Chursin has blue eyes, naturally dark hair color, fair skin and middle lips. The shape of the face is oval, the forehead is high, the hair is straight, thick. Nikolai Chursin did not change his hair color, preferring natural. The actor has a medium straight nose and a rectangular chin. The actor's height is 170 cm, no tattoos.
