Mikhail Ivanovich Tsarev was born in December 1903 in the city of Tver. From childhood, the boy showed a thirst for knowledge, was an excellent student at the Revel gymnasium. In 1917, the Tsarev family moved to Petrograd. There, under the guidance of a teacher Yuri Yuriev, Mikhail becomes an actor of a theater troupe.
