Born on June 25, 1943 in the city of Alma-Ata.
He studied first in Alma-Ata, then in the Kuibyshev Youth Theater, served in the army. Three times he went to enter Moscow, but completed his studies at the Yaroslavl Theater School (graduated in 1972). Then he returned to his hometown. Since 1973 - actor of the Lermontov Republican Academic Theater of Russian Drama (Alma-Ata) .
Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
