Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR (1959) .
From the age of 14 he worked in the Guryev oil exploration, then studied at the courses of projectionists in Alma-Ata.
In 1950 he graduated from the Alma-Ata film school, in 1952 - the acting department of the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute and became an actor in the Kazakh Academic Drama Theater named after Mukhtar Auezov in Alma-Ata.
Since 1971 he has been an actor at the Kazakhfilm film studio.
He directed the films Forest Ballad (1972) and Treasure of the Black Mountains (1979).
In the cinema - since 1948, the first role - Tumatuge in the film by Mark Donskoy "Alitet Goes to the Mountains".
