He is the author of the violin concert "Music Risen from the Ashes", music for the theatrical action "Poem of Bratsk", music and songs for films ("Officers", "Ivan Makarovich", "Marked Atom", "Citizens", "Minors" , "Zosia" ...) and many theatrical performances.
A significant part of his works is connected with the Jewish theme - suites for orchestra "Biblical" and "Heroes of Sholem Aleichem", suites for violin and piano "Pages of a distant youth", "Soul of a choreographer" (Jewish wedding pantomimes for viola and piano), "Jewish lyric dances "(for string orchestra).
R. Khozak - Laureate of the All-Union Film Festival in the nomination "Award for the work of a composer" (1973).
He died in 1989.
