Born on June 10, 1937 in Tbilisi.
In 1961 he graduated from the Tbilisi Conservatory, class of composition A.M. Balanchivadze.
Since 1959 - a teacher at the 4th music school, since 1963 - at the Pedagogical Institute. A.S. Pushkin, since 1968 - the 4th music school named after. M. Balanchivadze in Tbilisi.
In 1961-1963 he worked as a sound engineer at the Republican Studio of Recordings.
