Born on March 25, 1914 in Moscow. In 1937 she graduated from the Theater School at the Theater named after Yev. Vakhtangov. Since 1938 - an actress of the Lenin Komsomol Theater in Moscow (in 1941-1943 - an actress in the front-line branch of the Vakhtangov Theater). In cinema since 1954.
People's Artist of the RSFSR (1960). People's Artist of the USSR (1978) .
She passed away on July 29, 1999 in Moscow. The actress was buried at the Golovinskoye cemetery (section 4).
