Conductor of the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater, artistic director and conductor of the Laureate of Music and Student Festivals of the Symphony Orchestra of the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov.
Graduated from Kaunas Secondary Special Music School (Lithuania) majoring in violin, Leningrad Conservatory majoring in choral and opera and symphony conducting. In the 60s - 70s he worked as a pianist, violinist, flutist, arranger and leader of various ensembles, taught conducting at the Conservatory and the School. ON. Rimsky-Korsakov.
Conductor-director of operas and musical performances. Opera by G. Rossini "Italian Woman in Algeria" was awarded the title of Best Performance of the Year in Lithuania (Klaipeda Musical Theater, 1990). Z. Matus' opera "The Song of Love and Death of the Cornet Christoph Rilke" was awarded in 1999 in the category "Best Opera Performance" of the highest theatrical award of Russia "Golden Mask" (St. Petersburg Opera).
He headed the musical editorial board of the Lenfilm film studio, as a conductor and consultant, he collaborated with famous composers and directors - A. Petrov, V. Uspensky, I. Schwartz, M. Legrand, I. Kheifets, A. Sokurov, E. Hoffman, M. Andersen and others.
Conducted in Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Lithuania, Mexico, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Russia.
