Was born in Germany in 1948. Best known for his work in advertising. Since 1977 Sam has directed over 50 commercials, many of which have won prizes in Cannes, New York and London. In 2004 Garbarski made his feature film debut with Tango Rashevsky, which was shown at several festivals and won the main prize of the Jerusalem IFF. Sam Garbarski's Irina Palm Will Make IT Better (2007) was nominated for Best Film at the 2007 Berlinale.
