Soviet actor Valentin Nikulin was born into the family of pianist Evgenia Brook and playwright Yuri Nikulin in 1932 in Moscow. The uncle of the future actor is also a creative person, writer Lev Nikulin. The family greatly influenced the formation of Valentine's personality: he wanted to do an interesting job, achieve fame and recognition. In his youth, he graduated from the law faculty of Moscow State University. Having worked as a lawyer, Valentin realized that this was not his path and, after consulting with his mother, decided to become an actor.
He began his acting career at the Sovremennik Theater, later he was attracted to the filming of various films. Having linked his acting fate with cinema, he fell into the framework of the role of wizards, mysterious personalities, eccentrics. Trying to break such restrictions of directors, the actor took on a variety of roles in detective stories, fairy tales, dramas, comedies. But film directors were in no hurry to give the actor the main roles, which made him very upset.
