Born on December 21, 1967, Oeiras is a Portuguese singer, one of the biggest fado performers today.

Belongs to the fourth generation of fado performers in their family. In 1979 he won the Great Night of Fado competition, recorded his first disc, and began performing successfully in Portugal and Europe. In 2011 he made his US debut with a concert at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
