Born on January 10, 1905 in the village of Alekseevskoye, Kazan province, Russian Empire (now Tatarstan).
In 1930-1935 he was an amateur naval artist in Kronstadt.
Since 1935 he has been an actor in the Baltic Fleet Theater.
In the cinema since 1951 (first role - a police officer in the film "Belinsky").
Since 1956 - actor of the Lenfilm film studio (more than 120 roles in films) .
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (November 13, 1942) .
He passed away on July 14, 1982 in Leningrad. The actor was buried at the Bolsheokhtinskoye cemetery.
