Vaclav Dvorzhetsky - theater and film actor, author of The Ways of Great Stages and Dynasty, People's Artist of the RSFSR.

Vaclav Yanovich was born on August 3, 1920 in Kiev. The Dvorzhetsky family comes from a dynasty of hereditary Polish nobles. Therefore, the older generation of the family insisted on receiving a higher education for Vaclav. Dvorzhetsky received his first acting education at the Kiev Drama Theater, the second - at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute.

During his student years, Vaclav Yanovich was a member of the GOL public group. In 1929, for his active work in the circle, as well as for suspicions of working in the Polish intelligence service, Dworzhetsky was arrested and convicted. The young actor (at that time he was not yet twenty years old) was sent to the camps. However, the oppression from the authorities did not affect the development of Wenceslav's creative potential - after hard working days, the actor went to rehearsals of the Tulom Theater Expedition. On the stage of the camp theater, Vaclav Dvorzhetsky made his debut as a theater actor.

In 1937 the artist was released. Vaclav Yanovich decides to return to Kiev and find work in the theater. However, directors do not dare to take a former political prisoner into the troupe. The head of the department of culture helps Dvorzhetsky get a job at a theater in Kharkov. After working there for only a month, the actor quit and moved to Omsk, where he was admitted to the local Youth Theater. In 1938, Vaclav met Taisia ??Ray, and a year after their marriage, they had a son, Vladislav. But carefree family happiness was not destined to exist for a long time, in 1941 the actor was arrested again. While Vaclav Janovic is in the camp, the actor's illegitimate daughter Tatyana is born. In 1946, Dvorzhetsky was released and returned home. Having learned about the betrayal, the wife does not forgive the artist for the betrayal and files for divorce. In the early 1950s, Wenceslas married Riva Levita, whom he met even before his arrest at the Omsk Drama Theater. In 1960, the Dvorzhetskys had a son, and Vatslav Yanovich himself became the leading artist of the drama theater in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. Vaclav Dvorzhetsky played the main roles in the plays The Lost Son and The Drummer.

In addition to his roles in the theater, Vaclav Janovic also acts in films. During his life, the actor played in 92 films.
