Vladimir Aleksandrovich Shubarin was born on December 23, 1934 in Stalinsk, now Novokuznetsk. From a very early age he was attracted to the fine arts. Vladimir Shubarin started dancing earlier than walking. Parents encouraged his hobbies in every possible way and, since they were not poor, sent their young talented child to various circles, where he practiced various styles of dance. Vladimir was never drawn to play in the theater. After graduating from school at the age of 17, Vladimir was accepted as a soloist in the dance group of the Choir named after Pyatnitsky. After he got a more or less paid job as an ordinary dancer, Vladimir began attending classes in an experimental class at the Moscow Choreographic School. At the age of 20 he volunteered for the army, where he served, for the most part, in army ensembles. It was difficult to call it a service, since he spoke to the soldiers all the time, but still occasionally he became an ordinary private.
Throughout his life, Vladimir Shubarin studied various styles of dancing, including the jazz style that was forbidden at that time. Trying to remain in the memory of the public, Vladimir gladly accepted any proposal for shooting in films. The roles of Vladimir Shubarin were often episodic, but sometimes the honor of playing a minor character fell out. Even such an insignificant participation in the filming revealed Vladimir's talent to the fullest, which allowed him to fall in love with the viewer. The last film with Vladimir Shubarin is called Balagan.
In addition to being a good dancer, Vladimir was fond of singing and even recorded several solo albums.
Died on April 16, 2002 from a massive myocardial infarction in Moscow. Vladimir Shubarin made a huge contribution to the development of dancing in the USSR, for which he was awarded the title of Honored Artist.
