Born on January 23, 1949 in Dneprodzerzhinsk, Ukrainian SSR, USSR.
In 1967-1968 he worked as a mechanic for the repair of ventilation units at the DGZ.
In 1968 he studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Theater School,
in 1968-1971 - at the acting department of VGIK (workshop of V.V.Belokurov).
Graduated from the film faculty of the I.K. Karpenko-Kary (1972) and became an actor at the Kiev Film Studio named after A.P. Dovzhenko.
He passed away on March 4, 2007 in Dneprodzerzhinsk, Ukraine. The actor was buried in the village of Shulgovka (near Dneprodzerzhinsk).
