Born on May 12, 1949 in Odessa.
Director and screenwriter of feature and documentary films. In 1969 he graduated from the Odessa Naval School, in 1976 - from the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography, where he studied at the department of directing a television film.
