1923 - 2009 - Soviet and Russian composer. People's Artist of the Russian Federation (1996), laureate of the State Prize of Russia, the only composer in the country - three-time winner of the Nika Film Prize. Author of symphonic works, as well as music for two ballets, more than 35 performances and 125 films. The greatest fame to Schwartz was brought by his music in the paintings of S. Solovyov and V. Motyl.
