April 12, 1892 - June 24, 1954 - Soviet screenwriter.

Winner of the Stalin Prize, second degree (1947).

Graduated from the school of sea navigators (1911). During the Civil War (1918-1922) he worked as a military journalist. Since 1922 he has been writing screenplays for films. He worked at the Mezhrabpom-Rus film studio.
