In 1932 she graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Performing Arts.
Since 1932 she has been an actress of the Young Theater under the direction of S.E. Radlov.
In 1935-1940 she was an actress of the Leningrad Comedy Theater (under the direction of N.P. Akimov).
Since 1940 - in the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater. In this theater, the actress worked for over thirty years, but left the theater with age.
People's Artist of the RSFSR (1963) .
She was buried at the Nevzorovskoye cemetery in the city of Ivanteevka, Moscow Region.
