Jeanne Balibar (fr. Jeanne Balibar, April 13, 1968, Paris) is a French actress and singer.
Daughter of the physicist Francoise Balibar and the philosopher Etienne Balibard. She graduated from the Lyceum of Henry IV, in 1987 entered the Ecole Normal. Then she studied for three years at the Higher National Conservatory of Dramatic Art. Upon graduation, she was accepted into the troupe of the Comedie Francaise.
She was married to Mathieu Amalric, to whom she gave birth to two sons, then to the writer Pierre Alfery and the musician Philippe Catherine.
Since the late 1990s, she has also performed as a singer, including in films (Ball of Actresses, etc.). She has recorded two discs, and Pedro Costa's documentary Ne change rien was filmed about her concerts.
