Thanks to his father, from an early age Pierre was actively interested in theater and comedy. He spent his childhood in the XIV arrondissement of Paris, where he takes his first steps on the stage at the age of 11.
Pierre graduated from the Claude Monet Lyceum with a degree in theater. After completing his courses at Compagnie Pandora, he successfully passed the entrance exams to the prestigious Cours Florent theater school, where he studied for two years before entering the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Paris.
After playing several theater performances, Pierre Ninet starred in several short films before finally appearing on the big screen in Lisa Azuelos's LOL.
On April 16, 2010 Pierre, at the age of 21, was admitted to the Comedie Francaise troupe, thus becoming the youngest actor in the troupe. On January 15, 2015, Pierre left the theater.
In 2015, for his role as Yves-Saint Laurent, 25-year-old Pierre received the most prestigious Cesar award in French cinema as best actor, beating, among others, Gaspard Ulliel, who played the couturier in another biopic released the same year. Two years later, in 2017, Gaspard and Pierre were again rivals in this nomination, Pierre Ninet - for the role of Franz in the film of the same name by Francois Ozon, and Gaspard Ulliel - for the role of Louis in the film "It's just the end of the world", but this time Pierre Ninet was left without Cesar.
