Vasily Krichevsky - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Born in the city of Kharkov in 1901.
He studied at the Kiev gymnasium number 4. In 1923 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied with his father.
He worked at the Odessa and Kiev film studios, designed 16 films, including "Earth" by A. Dovzhenko.
Over time, he took up easel painting. He worked in the field of portrait, landscape, book design.
Since 1949 he has lived and worked in the USA.
Wife - Elena Evgenievna Krichevskaya.
He died in 1978.
