Lev Borisovich Krugly (02/23/1931) - a native Muscovite. After graduating from the Moscow Theater School in 1953, Lev Krugly was sent to work at the Khabarovsk Drama Theater (1953-1956). It was not easy for the young actor here - a cold room for two in a hostel, severe frosts and a meager salary, which was not enough even for the most necessary. Returning to Moscow, Lev Borisovich entered the service at the Sovremennik Theater (1956-1964). Krugly also played at Lenkom, and later at the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya.
The actor came to the national cinema in 1959, after the director M. Kalik invited L. Krugly to play the role of Levka in the film story Lullaby. In subsequent years, the actor was actively removed, and films with Leo Krugly Noisy Day (1960), Look - Heaven (1963), On the Wedding Day (1968) and others appeared on the screens of the country. The audience well remember the main roles that the actor played in the films Ahead - a sharp turn (driver Andrey), On duty (polar explorer Pavel Bogachev), Trains pass by the windows (boarding school director Fedor Gusev), Mysterious Wall (scientist Yegor Lomov) , The Hound of the Baskervilles (Dr. Watson).
The last film with Lev Krugly, which was shot in 1979, was Varvara, and the actor played the role of excise warden Mauritius Monakhov.
When in 1979 the artist announced his intention to leave the country with his family, his decision was not supported by friends and acquaintances.
