She graduated from high school, entered the theater school, but did not pass the competition. She worked as a proofreader in a publishing house. Since 1960 she has been an actress of the Romen Theater. Since 1955 she has been a soloist of the Ryazan Philharmonic Gypsy Ensemble. She performed in a duet with guitarist Nikolai Volshaninov. 1982-1999 - soloist of the Mosconcert.
He currently lives in Miami, Florida, USA.
