Rutger Hauer is an actor, screenwriter, director and producer famous in Holland, America (and not only). He was born in 1944, January 23, in Brekelen, Utrecht, the Netherlands. For his work, the actor prefers pictures in the genres of action, drama and thriller. The first wife was Heidi Merz, with whom the actor has one child. After the divorce, he married again. The second wife was Inek Sinti Ten Keith, with whom Rutger also has one child.

Hauer's father's name was Olson Knet Hauer, he taught at the theater college, and his mother, Magda Lebius-Hauer, taught drama courses at the same theater. This happened because the profession of parents required them to constantly travel on tour.
