Stage director, producer.
Graduated from the linguistic faculty of the Yerevan Literary Institute after V.Ya.Bryusov (1976). Graduated from the Higher Courses of Directors of the State Film Agency (1989). In cinema - since 1981. 1994 to 1997 headed the General Directorate of the Interfest International Film Festivals. In 1998 he was the general producer of the Kinotavr film festival. Since 2002 he has been the general director of ANO "Angel Film".
Member of the Board of the Association of Film Producers of Russia, the Russian Academy of Cinematography "Nika", the Board of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Secretary of the Moscow Union of Cinematographers.
