Real name - Ter-Grigoryan.
Was born on January 3, 1937 in Baku. Graduated from the Baku Institute of Oil and Chemistry (1961), the screenwriting department of the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors (1972, workshop of Iosif Olshansky). Artistic director of the New Odeon studio.
