Born 1966 - Australian film director. His debut short film Swinger (1995) won an award at the Cannes Film Festival, and his first major commercial success was the crime comedy Two Hands (1999), starring Heath Ledger. During the 2000s, Jordan worked primarily outside Australia. Critics' attention was drawn to the films Informants (2008), which he created in the United States, a retrodrama based on prose by Bret Easton Ellis, and The Unthinkable (2010), a political thriller dedicated to the problem of terrorism.
