Born October 16, 1963. From an early age, Eli passionately fell in love with literature and poetry. By the age of 17 he had already written two theatrical plays and two collections of poems: "Poezerkal" (Le poemoire) and "Sadness" (Le plaisantriste). He is attracted by the theater, and he joins the troupe of Roger Louret. There he meets Muriel Robin, with whom he plays in the play "Merry Men in Agen". In 1988, Simun made his first steps in the cinema, taking part in the creation of the film "Toilette-Zone" by Laurence Arcadia.
He debuts as a comedian in 1990 with Dieudonne. In 1991, the duo show their first performance at the Cafe de la Gar. Pascal Lejitimus from the "Strangers" trio becomes their director.
